This garlic Parmesan spaghetti is creamy, rich, and flavorful—a comforting pasta dish better than many restaurant versions.
400 g / 14 oz spaghetti
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
240 ml / 1 cup heavy cream
100 g / 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
60 ml / ¼ cup reserved pasta cooking water
Cook spaghetti until al dente; reserve ¼ cup pasta water and drain.
Melt butter in skillet; sauté garlic 1–2 min.
Add cream; simmer 2–3 min until slightly thickened.
Gradually whisk in Parmesan until smooth.
